What is an account? Do I need one?

When you sign up at LongTermCareEducation.com, you must save your personal information in a secure account. This allows you to view your online course page, take courses, and view your course history. When you visit LongTermCareEducation.com again for future courses, you will not need to enter your personal information again.

Why do I have to enter my credit card number again with each new purchase?

For your security, the LongTermCareEducation.com website does not retain your credit card number after your order is complete even though you created an account. You will need to re-enter your credit card number for each new purchase.

Where is my purchase history?

Orders placed before July 26, 2007 are no longer available for on line viewing. However your transcript does remain complete. A record of all courses purchased on line, all quizzes completed, and all certificates issued remain in your transcript. Why is it important to have just one account?

Your email address is your user ID at LongTermCareEducation.com. Please do not try to create a new account with the same email address you have used to purchase before. Instead, enter your email address and the password you used when you created the account in the Returning Customer box. Email it to me! and your password will be mailed to you at the email address you originally used to create the account. I paid for a course. Now what do I do?

Once you have paid for your course, check your email for detailed instructions on how to complete your enrollment. On your online course page, you can download course materials and take the course exam. After the exam is complete, you can download your course certificate. After you have passed the course examination and written exam, your certificate will be available on the online course page. Click this link to visit your online course page.

How can I get an invoice so my work will pay for my course?

Place the courses that you want in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout, either signing in with your existing account or creating a new one, and you will have the payment option of "Request for Quote". If you choose "Request for Quote" you will receive via email an invoice that you may use. Please note that tax will be $0.00.

How do I buy courses for multiple people?

If you are an administrator wishing to purchase courses for your employees, you may either contact us directly (orders@ltce.com) for an invoice or you may purchase multiple copies of the same course and include the employee names in the order notes box. If you choose the latter, please email orders@ltce.com your intentions so that we can create accounts and send the information to your employees.

Is my credit card information secure?

LongTermCareEducation.com use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions in certain areas such as our shopping-cart and account pages and is Visa Approved and PABPCertified.

I did not get an email receipt for my purchase.

If you use Earthlink or another ISP with similar spam protection, you must set your spam blocker to allow email from orders@ltce.com If you do not make this change, you will not receive the email confirmation of your purchase, which includes download instructions for your course materials.

Error Message: That E-mail Address is Already Used By Another Customer

When you place an order at LongTermCareEducation.com, your personal information is saved in a customer secure account.

Your email address is your user ID at LongTermCareEducation.com. If you create an account with a previous order, and then later try to create a new account with the same email address, you will see the error message that e-mail address is already used by another customer.

If this happens, you have 2 options:

  1. Click the link marked If you already have an account with us, sign in here. You will be taken to a login page for your account. If you do not remember your password, click the button to have a new password e-mailed to you.
  2. You can also create a new account using another email address. Be sure to use a valid email address to which you have access. Your receipt and all other information about your order will be sent to this email address.
